SOUTHFIELD —  Regency at Bluffs Park in Ann Arbor and Regency at Whitmore Lake have earned a Five-Star rating, the highest rating possible from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

CMS created the Five-Star Quality Rating System to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily and help identify areas about which the consumer might have questions.  Five-Star is the highest designation that can be given in this rating system.

Regency at Bluffs Park offers short term rehabilitative services and sub acute care, while Regency at Whitmore Lake provides short-term rehabilitative services, and long-term skilled nursing care.  Each location has state of the art facilities and equipment for physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Other services include around-the-clock skilled nursing, wound care management, dietary and nutritional consulting, pain management, and therapeutic life enrichment and recreational activities.

“We are so pleased that CMS has given our facilities the highest rating possible,” said John Gaynier, regional director of operations for both facilities.
