Communications firm Truscott Rossman (TR) in Detroit named Ben Poulson as its new director of client services. Poulson will be based out of TR’s Lansing office.
“We are delighted to add someone with such a skilled and robust background to the Truscott Rossman team,” says John Truscott, CEO of Truscott Rossman. “As TR continues to grow our statewide presence, we need individuals like Ben with a unique understanding of Lansing and tested client strategy experience.”
After being a part of the expansion of major restaurant chain HopCat, worked for the Michigan Legislature. There, he developed policy initiatives and communication for Rep. Denise Mentzer and former Rep. Bill Sowerby.
Poulson now will help Truscott Rossman’s clients by continuing to build on relationships and ensure customer service and client goals are met.
“I am incredibly excited to join the team at Truscott Rossman,” says Poulson. “Their reputation for delivering success for companies, issues and people is unmatched. I am deeply grateful for the invaluable experience gained during my time in the state Legislature and eager to contribute my experience in policy and communications to help drive stories that drive change.”
In addition to his background in the legislature, Poulson graduated with honors from James Madison University at Michigan State University in East Lansing with a Bachelor of Arts in international relations.
