Troy’s Walsh College Appoints Four Board Members

Troy’s Walsh College appointed four members to its board of trustees. They include Michelle Acciavatti, David Lewis, Michele Honomichl, and U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Doug Slocum.

“It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome these four individuals to our board of trustees,” says Marsha Kelliher, president and CEO of Walsh. “They bring a diverse range of expertise and experience at an important time in Walsh history, and we look forward to their leadership and insight.”

Acciavatti is a market leader for Michigan and northwest Ohio at Willis Towers Watson. She advises global organizations on strategy, design, management of risk, and human resources programs, and is also responsible for colleague engagement and recruitment in the market.

Lewis is president of AT&T in Michigan. Previously, he worked as director of external and corporate affairs for the company and was clerk of Indiana’s Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and Tax Court. Lewis has also worked for Evan Bayh, a U.S. senator.

Honomichl is founder, executive chairman, and chief strategy officer at Celergo, a company located in Illinois that manages local, offshore, and overseas payrolls in more than 120 countries. At Celergo, Honomichl provides strategic directoin to expand services, technologies, and the company.  She also founded GPSLink, a web-based technology that helps manage administration abroad.

Slocum is an executive advisor to the CEO of Simon Group Holdings. For more than 35 years, he served with the U.S. Air Force and Air Force National Guard. Along with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Walsh, he has also authored more than 250 lessons, textbooks, and publications.
