Troy Company Expands Facilities – Creates High-Tech Studio Space

Troy, Mich. – Midcoast, a Michigan-based creative studio, announced the expansion of their Troy headquarters to meet a growing demand for 3D imaging services.

Established in 1984, Midcoast Studio has risen to become a leader in advertising photography, while working with clientele including Harley-Davidson, Volvo Truck and HGTV.

In 2004, during the advent of digital media, Midcoast expanded its reach by adding a 3D rendering and image retouching division that works in conjunction with their existing Photography team. Midcoast’s ability to create photo-realistic 3D imagery has garnered business from companies including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Buick, Carhartt, Sea Ray and PPG.

Midcoast is repurposing one of their stages, to create an open workspace for their 3D artists. Additionally, the company is seeking talented digital artists to supplement their growing team. “Our building expansion is another step toward becoming one of the country’s leading 3D studios, said Paul Slocum, Vice President of Midcoast. “We’re fortunate to be growing as a company, and are committed to this region. Metro Detroit has been our home for over 30 years, and will continue to be going forward.”
