TROY — The Troy Chamber has appointed Lisa Owens of Toyoda Gosei North America Corporation to its board of directors to fill the vacancy of John Wells of Toyoda Gosei through the end of 2014. In January 2015, she will begin her first three-year term with the organization.
“I am looking forward to our continued board of director relationship with Toyoda Gosei,” said Ara Topouzian, the board’s president and CEO. “The regional North American headquarters has called Troy its home for over 22 years and the company has been an active member of the Troy Chamber for a decade. Lisa will make a great addition to the board.”
Owens of Dearborn serves as the senior specialist of internal/external affairs for the corporate planning department at Toyota Gosei, a Tier-1 parts provider of automotive and LED components to global manufacturers. She has worked for the company for 17 years in various roles. Owens has a Bachelor of Arts from Central Michigan University, as well as a Professional in Human Resource certification.
