1997

FARMINGTON HILLS — Real estate law firm, Trott & Trott, raised $3,900 to benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan as part of the company’s yearlong corporate giving campaign.

Trott employees contributed funds to support the organization’s Detroit distribution center, helping Gleaners in its mission of supplying food to 550 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties. In total, Trott employees donated $1,950 to the cause, while the firm provided a company match to bring the grand total to $3,900.

“Through our employees’ generous donations, 11,700 meals can now be purchased to feed those in need throughout our local community,” said Jeffrey Raff, managing partner. “Each of our corporate giving initiatives focus on improving the quality of life for many in our area, and it was a pleasure to partner with Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan to kick off our 2014 campaign.”

The Gleaners initiative is the first in Trott’s annual corporate giving program, which previously benefited other local charities, including American Cancer Society, Oakland Family Services, and Starfish Family Services.
