FARMINGTON HILLS — Trott & Trott, P.C., a Farmington Hills-based real estate law firm, has promoted Roy Sexton to senior vice president, corporate affairs.
In addition to continuing to lead the firm’s marketing and strategic planning, Sexton is responsible for the overall organizational and cultural communication and change, business development, service line planning, facility planning and support, and other administrative oversight.
“Roy has provided invaluable thought-leadership and support since first joining Trott & Trott in 2011, and we are confident he will continue to guide the growth and development of the firm in his new role,” said managing partner Jeffrey Raff. “He is incredibly knowledgeable of the inner workings of our firm, and remains a valuable asset for our entire team and clients.”
Prior to joining Trott, Sexton spent 10 years in various planning and communications roles at Oakwood Healthcare System, serving as the corporate director of strategic communications and planning. In this role he led a staff of 20 marketing professionals and developed the strategic direction for the $1 billion health care system.
Sexton earned his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College and a master’s in theatre fro Ohio State University. He also received his MBA from the University of Michigan. He has been involved on the following nonprofit boards and committees: First Step, Michigan Quality Council, National MS Society, ASPCA, Wabash College Southeast Michigan Alumni Association, Penny Seats Theatre Co., and the Spotlight Players.
