Toyota Technical Center Announces U.S. Executive Appointment

ANN ARBOR — Toyota Technical Center a division of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing, N.A. announced the promotion of Andrew Lund from executive program manager, to chief engineer for the Toyota Sienna, effective January 7, 2013.

“Andrew Lund has done an outstanding job as executive program manager for previous Sienna development projects,” said Seiya Nakao, TTC President. “Andy helped guide the team to a successful launch of the 2011 Sienna, which later received the title of ‘best-selling minivan of 2011’ in the U.S.”

Lund joined the Toyota Technical Center in 1994 as a senior engineer in the materials engineering department’s paint and anti-corrosion group, and was promoted to manager in 1997. He transferred to the product development office in 2000, joining the Sienna team as program manager, and was promoted to executive program manager for the Sienna program in 2004.

Prior to joining Toyota Technical Center, Lund served as an international account manager for Henkel Corporation in their Henkel Surface Treatments group and Teroson Automotive Products group. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1985. Andy is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
