Three Dickinson Wright Attorneys in Detroit & Troy Elected as Members

Detroit-based Dickinson Wright, a general practice business law firm, has announced that three new member attorneys, Salina Hamilton, Jared Smith, and Robert Zora, have been elected to the firm’s Detroit and Troy offices, effective Jan. 1.

Hamilton, a member of the firm’s Detroit office, focuses on areas of commercial and business litigation, specializing in eDiscovery practice. She has experience in all phases of commercial litigation in state and federal courts, as well as in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a variety of contracts. Hamilton is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Federal Bar Association, the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, and the State Bar of Michigan. She received her B.A. from Alma College and her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law. 

Smith is a member in the firm’s Troy office. He advises business entities and individuals in transactional, corporate, and information technology matters. He also has experience with mergers and acquisitions, brewing regulations, joint ventures, corporate finance and securities, corporate governance, and compliance matters. He is recognized in DBusiness Top Lawyers. Smith received his B.A. from Tufts University and his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

Zora is a Member in the firm’s Detroit office, focusing on commercial and business litigation, with experience advising clients regarding director and member disputes, shareholder oppression and fiduciary duty issues, and other disputes arising out of shareholder agreements. Additionally, he counsels clients regarding commercial contract matters, business and real estate disputes, non-compete and anti-solicitation agreements, and intellectual property and licensing disputes. Zora is a member of the Federal Bar Association and serves on the board of directors of the Chaldean American Bar Association. Before joining the firm was law clerk to the Honorable Sean F. Cox at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.  He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
