Livonia-based real estate company Schostak Brothers and Co. has selected Thomas W. Litzler as their president and COO. Litzler will be responsible for overseeing leasing and asset management for retail and office properties through the U.S.
“Thomas is a highly accomplished real estate executive with diverse experience in development, construction, leasing, and operations,” says David Schostak, CEO of Schostak Brothers. “His vast knowledge of our industry, leadership skills, and strong track record of success with a range of property types makes him the right seasoned professional for this critical role in our growing company.”
Litzler brings more than 30 years of leadership experience to the company. Prior to joining Schostak Brothers, Litzler served as regional president for Brixmore Property Group Inc. headquartered in Farmington. Additionally, Litzler has served as vice president for Ramco Gershenson Properties Trust, New Plan Excel Realty Trust, and A&P.
Litzler earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and a bachelor of arts degree from the College of Wooster in Ohio.
