ANN ARBOR — The Suburban Collection Tuesday announced an expansion of their automotive business in Ann Arbor with the acquisition of Chrysler Jeep of Ann Arbor.
The new dealership, Suburban Chrysler Jeep of Ann Arbor, is located at 2060 West Stadium Blvd. The Troy-based company has two existing Ann Arbor operations, Suburban Cadillac of Ann Arbor and Suburban Chevrolet of Ann Arbor on Jackson Road.
“We have been part of the Ann Arbor business community since 2004 and are delighted to further expand our commitment with this additional dealership,” said David T. Fischer, chairman and chief executive officer of The Suburban Collection.
Suburban Chrysler Jeep of Ann Arbor dealership is a 18,000 sq. ft. sales and service facility and currently employs 40 people. The company said that planning is underway to update and expand the dealership, including adding Fiat by the end of this year.
The dealership will operate under the direction of Ron MacEachern, General Manager of a number of The Suburban Collection dealerships.
