French/​West/​Vaughan (FWV), one of the nation’s largest independently held public relations, advertising, and digital media agencies, has folded Detroit-based The Millerschin Group (TMG) under its flagship FWV agency brand, effective Jan. 1.

The transition marks the culmination of FWV’s acquisition of TMG, finalized in late 2022, and strengthens the agency’s footprint in the automotive and mobility sectors.

Founded in 2000 by Erin Millerschin, daughter of legendary automotive journalist David C. Smith, TMG has earned a stellar reputation as a leading PR and integrated marketing agency specializing in mobility, manufacturing, and transportation. Over its 24-year history, the firm has served an impressive roster of global clients, including Eaton, LG Energy Solution, Lear, Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, and WABCO.

With the rebranding complete, FWV’s Detroit office joins a network of specialty divisions, including AMP3 PR (New York City), Fetching PR (Tampa), and Prix Productions (Los Angeles). Together, these units form the architecture of FWV’s award-winning, 36-time National Agency of the Year organization, which has been the largest independently held PR firm in the Southeast for more than two decades.

Since its acquisition, TMG has maintained its commitment to clients and its team of eight professionals. Under the FWV banner, the Detroit office will expand into B2C marketing, while staying true to its roots as a trusted partner to the mobility and manufacturing industries.
