The Center for Senior Independence Appoints New President, CEO

DETROIT — Mary Kummer Naber has been appointed president and chief executive officer of The Center for Senior Independence. The center is the provider of the Program for the All Inclusive Care of the Elderly or PACE, serving qualified seniors across metro Detroit.

Naber, of Grosse Pointe Park, comes to CSI with an extensive career in health care executive leadership. She most recently served as president of her own management consulting firm. Previously, Naber held multiple senior executive roles including chief administrative officer for St. John Providence and Ascension’s Michigan market.

She received an MBA from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, a Bachelor of Art in psychology and business from Oakland University and is a graduate of Leadership Detroit Class XXXII.

She holds active affiliations with numerous professional and community organizations, including Inforum, American College of Healthcare Executives, Detroit Cristo Rey President’s Advisory Board, SuccessMile Academy, Children’s Center of Detroit Board Committee and SHRM/ASHHRA.
