Telemus Capital Acquires L.A.-Based Concentric Capital

SOUTHFIELD — In efforts to expand its sports and entertainment presence, Telemus Capital has acquired Los Angeles based Concentric Capital. In addition, Concentric’s CEO and managing member, David Post has joined Telemus as partner, senior adviser and co-chair of the firm’s investment committee. 

“The adding of Concentric Capital and David’s expertise to the Telemus Capital team is a real game-changer for us,” said Telemus Chairman Gary Ran.  “Our expertise with sports and entertainment industry clientele has been growing steadily and now with David’s extensive experience and a physical presence in Los Angeles added to our arsenal, the sky is really the limit in terms of our capabilities and growth potential.”

Post will remain in L.A. and manage key sports and enterntainment client relationships and lead the firm’s investment and economic research. 

Post has been in the wealth management industry since starting his career in Merrill Lynch in 1979. Post founded Concentric and prior to that, he served as managing director of CSI Capital Management in San Francisco. 

A New York native, Post received his bachelor’s in social sciences from the University of California-Berkeley. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
