TCF Bank Names John Hairston Business Banking Market Manager

John Hairston has been named business banking market manager at Detroit’s TCF Bank.

In this role, Hairston will serve as a strategic partner in the development of TCF’s business banking product set. He’ll also lead the Business Banking Team throughout southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio and continue to support the sales efforts of his team. In addition, Hairston will work alongside Trisha Hale, market manager, to support TFC’s $1 billion five-year loan initiative for minority communities and women-owned and minority-owned small businesses.

Before working at TCF, Hairston previously served as the head of private wealth and business banking treasury sales for SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, as well as the head of business banking treasury at PNC Bank in Cleveland. He has more than 25 years of experience in consumer banking, business banking, and treasury management.

Hairston holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Akron, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
