Clemens and Marquette, and offices in Toledo and Chicago, is proud to announce that Judge Stuart Trager, who just retired from the Michigan Tax Tribunal, joined the firm. Mr. Trager will be located in the firm’s Detroit office.

With the addition of Mr. Trager as Of Counsel, the Kitch firm has added the substantial depth of his many years of hands on judicial and attorney experience to the firm’s existing capabilities  to handle property tax appeals, zoning, land use and all manner of complex local governmental related litigation and regulation.

As a retired MTT judge, he is experienced in the handling of commercial and residential real property tax assessments. He was formerly supervisor of the Tax and Revenue Collection section of the City of Detroit Law Department, and has more than 30 years’ experience in litigation and municipal corporate matters including commercial and residential tax assessments, zoning and land use, and contract law.
