2018

The 2016 Symetra Tour Island Resort Championship of the Ladies Professional Golf Association will be held June 24-26 at Sweetgrass Golf Club in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, with all proceeds going to local non-profit organizations.

“The area’s support and tournament attendance has been outstanding year after year, and we expect the same this summer,” says Tony Mancilla, general manager and event co-chair of Island Resort and Casino.

The Symetra Tour — Road to the LPGA, is the official qualifying tour for the LPGA and provides fans a seat to watch rising stars compete in a 54-hole stroke-play event for a $125,000 purse.

Three-day grounds passes to the golf outing are $10 and include entry into daily prize drawings. Children 17 years old and under are admitted free with a paying adult. Tickets are available at Island Resort & Casino and at local organizations such as the Delta County Junior Golf Association and the NCA Guarantee Scholarship Fund.
