Troy-based Midcoast Studio, a company that specialized in 3-D visualization services, has named Donna Jackson as company president.
Jackson was named chief operating officer of Midcoast in 2013, and will carry dual roles with the studio going forward.
Under Jackson’s leadership, the studio was named a Best of Troy business for 2013 — a recognition of the studio’s corporate expansion efforts, as well as involvement in the surrounding Detroit community through its philanthropic initiatives.
Additionally, Midcoast was featured in the industry publication Advanced Photoshop for its advancements in the production of 3-D advertising imagery for clientele including Fiat Chrysler, Buick, and Jeep.
“This role supports Donna’s passion for developing people, processes, and tools that support the growth of not only Midcoast, but that will make a positive impact on our industry as well,” said Paul Slocum, CEO of Midcoast.
