DETROIT — Strategic Staffing Solutions, an international information technology and business services corporation, will deliver more than 400 books to Detroit Public School’s Bagley Elementary on Wednesday as part of the company’s annual book donation to local schools.

“Among [Strategic Staffing Solutions’] core pillars of community giving is our focus on children and our support for programs that improve literacy,” says Cindy Pasky, president and CEO of Strategic Staffing Solutions.

This year, Strategic Staffing Solutions partnered with the Detroit Public Schools Foundation, its president Dr. Glenda Price, and the Office of Literacy as an evolution of its tradition of collecting and delivering books to local students. Strategic Staffing Solutions will match students to the books that meet their individual age and reading skill levels.

“We are invested in the success of Detroit Public School students,” Pasky says.

Strategic Staffing Solutions Executive Vice President Allen Coleman and Detroit Branch Manager Shalini Lawson will deliver the books, visit classrooms, and spend the day reading to students.

“This partnership with the DPSF and the Office of Literacy is a perfect example of our approach to creating intentional relationships with organizations that align with our core pillars of community giving, enhancing our ability to drive lasting change,” Pasky says. “We also know that increased literacy leads to higher employment rates and a higher standard of living for the entire community.”
