Stoneridge Inc. Appoints Thomas M. Dono Jr. to Chief Legal Officer

Novi-based Stoneridge Inc. has announced the appointment of Thomas M. Dono Jr. to chief legal officer, effective January 8. The internal legal function for the company has been led by David Jaffe, principal of Jafffe Counsel, on an interim-basis over the last year and will continue as responsibilities are transitioned to Dono.

Dono was formerly executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary at Metaldyne Performance Group Inc. Additionally he severed as senior vice president for legal affairs, general counsel, and corporate secretary at Key Safety Systems, Inc. At Delphi Corp. and at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich, and Rosati, Dono has served in legal leadership roles representing technology, life sciences, and growth companies worldwide. He has a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, as well as a BS in economics and business management from Stony Brook University in New York.
