
Stephanie Burnley-Hemphill, co-CEO and general manager at Devon Group in New Jersey, has been elected to the board of directors of Winning Futures in Warren.
Winning Futures is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping teens be successful in their chosen career field. The program includes career exploration, job readiness training, life skills development, strategic planning, career mentoring, and scholarships.
“My heart told me, this is it,” says Burnley-Hemphill. “I love the fact that Winning Futures helps students throughout their high school and college paths. I look forward to jumping in and supporting their mission and students.”
Devon Group consists of Devon Contracting, Inc., and Devon Industrial Group, a general contracting and construction management firm. Burnley-Hemphill began her career in the family business 17 years ago and has worked in every department.

Burnley-Hemphill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in management from Wayne State University in Detroit. She also attended the Building a High-Performing Minority Business Program at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. She is a board member for the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council.
