DETROIT — Melissa Gush has joined St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center as director of children’s education.
Gush, of Dearborn Heights, came to the center as a social work intern and later became the children’s program, by becoming the as children’s program coordinator.
Gush’s work will focus specifically on the children’s after-school program, which is a community-based, personalized after-school and summer education experience program for children in grades 1-5. It is designed to offer year-round reading and math skill building.
Gush graduated with a Bachelor’s in social work from Madonna University.
