DETROIT — The Southwest Detroit Business Association will host hundreds of community leaders, business owners, entrepreneurs and residents during its annual Community Investment Breakfast next week in Detroit.
Isaiah McKinnon, city of Detroit deputy mayor and Chris Ilitch, president and CEO of Ilitch Holdings, Inc. will deliver formal remarks. WDIV TV-4 news morning anchor Rhonda Walker will serve as mistress of ceremonies.
The annual networking event acknowledges the positive contributions made by the association while celebrating the economic vitality of its business districts. This year’s breakfast theme, “Investing in Partnerships: Getting Detroit Back to Work,” will highlight the ways in which local businesses and investors are helping to contribute to the city’s job growth.
The breakfast will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. June 18. The event, which is presented by MotorCity Casino Hotel, will be held in the Sound Board located at 2901 Grand River Ave.
