Southfield’s Jaffe Names Alicia Schehr Leader of Financial Services Practice Group

Alicia Schehr, partner at Jaffe Raitt Heuer and Weiss P.C., a Southfield-based business law firm, was named leader of the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group. In her new role, Schehr will manage the firm’s professionals and resources with the goal of providing clients with legal counsel on financing matters.

Schehr is a member of the firm’s recruiting committee and previously served as co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Caucus Group, a group established to help women at the firm manage work-life balance, participate in community outreach, and gain self-marketing and business skills.

Schehr has been named to the DBusiness Magazine’s 30 in their Thirties list.

After completing her bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University, Schehr earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School. She joined Jaffe in September 1998.

Jaffe represents and advises entrepreneurs and businesses nationwide. It has 110 attorneys across its Detroit and Florida offices.
