Clarience Technologies in Southfield, a global transportation technology provider and parent company to Truck-Lite, Road Ready, DAVCO Technology, Pressure Systems International, ECCO Safety Group, RIGID Industries, and Lumitec, made changes to its senior leadership team as part of its efforts to expand into new industry segments, geographies, and technologies.

Mark Bara has been named president of performance solutions at Clarience and will oversee its performance-related companies and brands which include DAVCO diesel filtration systems, Pressure Systems International, Road Ready, and Lumitec.
Bara has 50 years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry, including 13 years of experience leading Clarience-owned DAVCO Technology. Before joining DAVCO in 2005, he spent 32 years at Detroit Diesel Corp. Bara received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from General Motors Institute in Flint, now known as Kettering University, and his Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Scott Montesi has been named president of signal and marking solutions at Clarience, and will oversee the commercial truck, trailer, and off-road lighting business, including the Truck-Lite brand in the U.S. and Mexico, as well as RIGID Industries.
Montesi joined Clarience Technologies in 2022 as DAVCO president and has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, with his most of his experience coming in automotive lighting. He served as senior vice president of the Americas business unit for Plastic Omnium (formerly known as Varroc Lighting Systems) prior to Clarience Technologies.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing and a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Brian Olsen was named president of safety solutions at Clarience and will continue to oversee the safety lighting and audible warning system technologies offered by Truck-Lite Europe, ECCO, Code 3, and LED Autolamps.
Olsen joined ESG in 2009 as vice president of global operations and was elevated to president of ECCO Safety Systems in 2021 soon after the company was acquired by Clarience Technologies. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. degree from Auburn University.

Nada Jiddou has been appointed executive vice president and chief digital officer of Clarience Technologies and will lead the company’s digital innovation team and will manage its proprietary software platforms, including the Fus1on cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform introduced by Clarience Technologies in 2022.
Jiddou joined Clarience Technologies in 2021 as executive vice president and general manager of road ready advanced telematics, bringing with her more than 25 years of experience in automotive connectivity and IoT technology from past positions at Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn,
Whirlpool Corp. in Benton Harbor, and General Motors Co. in Detroit. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield and an MBA from Wayne State University in Detroit.
