Three new stores — Vince, Vineyard Vines, and Ecco — will be opening their first Michigan locations this spring at Somerset Collection in Troy, in addition to the expansion of Lululemon and the unveiling of MAC Cosmetics and Talbots newly-designed stores.
“In our 20th year, we are thrilled that top national retailers continue to come to Somerset Collection first to establish their Michigan presence,” says Nate Forbes, managing partner of The Forbes Co., owners of Somerset Collection. “Being able to attract luxury brands and have stores reinvest in their Somerset Collection locations is a testament to the strength of our local market.”
Details about the new stores include:
- Vince will be 2,700-square-feet and is opening this May on Somerset South, second level. This is Vince’s first store in Michigan and second in the Midwest, and will offer men’s and women’s clothing, footwear, and accessories with a modern, timeless aesthetic, and effortless sophistication for everyday luxury essentials.
- Vineyard Vines, known for its neckties and smiling pink whale logo, will be more than 4,300-square-feet and is opening this May on Somerset South, first level. This is Vineyard Vines’ first store in Michigan and will offer men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, and accessories.
- Ecco, a Scandinavian footwear brand that has expanded its line from shoes to include leather goods and accessories, will be more than 1,400-square-feet is opening this April on Somerset North, third level. This is Ecco’s first store in Michigan.
Lululemon, located on Somerset Collection South, is nearly doubling its size to nearly 5,000-square-feet and will offer expanded men’s and women’s lines, and accessories.
MAC Cosmetics will relocate to Somerset Collection North and open in April with one of the brand’s first newly designed stores. Somerset Collection will also be the first location to introduce Talbots’ new store design, opening on Somerset Collection South in July.
