DETROIT — SME, a key resource to the manufacturing industry, has named its 2015 officers and directors, who comprise its board of directors. In addition to the new and returning officers and directors, SME has named Wayne F. Frost as its president.
The 2015 SME officers taking office in January 2015 are: Dean L. Bartles, president-elect, Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute, and UI Labs; Sandra L. Bouckley, retired vice president, Eaton Corp.; Thomas R. Kurfess, treasurer, Georgia Institute of Technology; and Mark L. Michalski, secretary, MKS Instruments.
The directors are: Edye S. Buchanan, Fives North American Combustion Inc.; Dianne Chong, The Boeing Co.; Matthew L. Hilgendorf, Caterpillar Inc.; Michael F. Molnar; National Institute of Standards and Technology; Greg Morris, GE Aviation; Robert R. Nesbitt, Eli Lilly and Co.; Michael D. Packer, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co.; Ralph L. Resnick, National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining and America Makes; and Susan M. Smyth, General Motors.
