Diego J. Rojas has joined Troy-based Secrest Wardle as a partner in the law firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Rojas is a member of the environmental and toxic tort, general negligence, Iinsurance coverage, malpractice/professional liability, motor vehicle litigation, premises liability, products liability, and property, fire and casualty practice groups.
Previously, Rojas practiced in Grand Rapids in the area of insurance defense. Prior to practicing in Michigan, Rojas worked at a law firm in the Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association and Grand Rapids Bar Association.
Rojas, of Grand Rapids, is a past president of the Maryland Hispanic Bar Association and a board member and former chair of the association’s judicial nominating selections committee. He is a former fellow of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Leadership Academy and participated on its membership committee.
Rojas earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and his juris doctor from the Catholic University, Columbus School of Law.
