Javon R. David and Amanda N. Pileggi have joined Secrest Wardle as associate attorneys.
David will work in the firm’s Troy office and will represent insurers, corporations, and individuals in general liability defense matters, including first- and third-party motor vehicle litigation, premises liability, and all areas of personal injury. She is admitted to practice law in Michigan and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. She is also a certified mediator through the American Bar Association.
David, of Lake Orion, earned her Bachelor of Arts in history, political science, and psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and her juris doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Pileggi will work in the law firm’s Lansing office. She is a member of the motor vehicle litigation practice group. Her practice focuses primarily on first- and third-party no-fault litigation and insurance coverage disputes. She is president of the Mid-Michigan Chapter of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.
Pileggi, of Lansing, completed her law degree at Michigan State University College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. While attending Michigan State University College of Law, she served as a Symposium Coordinator and team leader for the MSU College of Law International Law Review.
