Second Chance for 'Summer Zoomance' at the Zoo

An after-hours Summer Zoomance event will take place in August for adults 21 and older who missed the first event. 

The event is catered towards those who wish to relive memories of the Detroit Zoo while creating new ones. The event will feature music composed by Tom Butwin, complimentary tram tours, and zookeeper talks. Guests will also have an opportunity to ride through the Zoo on the Tauber Family Railroad for a one-way fare of $3.

The event will take place from 6-9 p.m. Aug. 20. Admission is $12 if paid before Thursday and will be $14 after.  Food and beverages will also be offered.
