Oscar Miranda has been named operations manager at Sea Life Michigan Aquarium at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills.
Miranda, of Auburn Hills, will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including management of staff and special event logistics for the attraction. Previously, Miranda was the owner of The Cookie Farm in Texas, and served as the admissions supervisor at the Houston Zoo. Before that, he was the education and entertainment manager at the Texas-based SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium for five years.
He earned his bachelor of management from the University of Phoenix.
