AUBURN HILLS — Former senior aquarist at Sea Life Michigan Aquarium, Kelli Cadenas, has been promoted to curator. In her new position, she will be responsible for overseeing the management of the aquarium’s displays.
Cadenas, of Ortonville, has previously worked as an aquarist at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, as well as an assistant aquarist at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center.
She received her Bachelor of Science in organismal biology from the University of Kansas.
