Schechter Wealth Names New Senior Adviser


BIRMINGHAM — Deric Righter has joined the Schechter Wealth as a senior adviser.

With more than 20 years of experience in executive benefit programs, tax, pension, and investment management, Righter, of Bloomfield Township, will focus his practice on advising high-net worth individuals and corporations in portfolio construction, benefit plan design, and institutional asset management. 

Previously, Righter served as CEO and CIO at ThyssenKrupp USA, where he directed the corporate staff supporting North American operations with sophisticated tax, treasury, legal and risk management services. He also held several  positions with JP Morgan Chase’s banking, capital markets, and public funds divisions in Detroit.

Righter earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Michigan and obtained his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago.
