Salvatore and Prescott Expands with New Partner and Chicago Office

Salvatore and Prescott, a Northville-based law firm, has appointed Julie Porter as the partner of its new Chicago office. With the hiring of Porter, the company will change its name to Salvatore, Prescott and Porter.

Porter has spent over 10 years serving as a top federal prosecutor in Chicago. Prior to joining Salvatore and Prescott, Porter was the chief of the criminal division for United State’s Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Illinois. She supervised over 120 federal prosecutors and headed all federal criminal prosecutions.

Porter will now be joining one of the largest female-owned law firms in the Midwest. Salvatore, Prescott and Porter specialize in employment and civil rights litigation, as well as investigations and criminal defense.

Porter graduated with honors from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass. while receiving her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
