
Resource Recycling Systems (RRS) in Ann Arbor, a circular economy and sustainable waste management consulting firm, has expanded its ownership team with the addition of seven professionals: Isabelle Borkowski, Carrie Bell, Chris King, Maggie Orozco, Ché Pomo, Katy Ricchi, and Annie White.
As RRS continues to experience strong growth in the sustainable materials management sector, these individuals bring expertise that is expected to enhance the company’s services, strengthen its internal operations, and further its mission-driven impact.
With this latest expansion, RRS now counts 30 individual shareholders, reinforcing its commitment to broad-based employee ownership and shared success. The new shareholders have been recognized for their outstanding contributions in advancing client work, improving internal systems, and elevating RRS’s presence in the market.

The new shareholders have played instrumental roles in shaping RRS’s growth, from leading groundbreaking projects to advancing operational efficiency and strategic planning. Their expertise spans key areas such as market research, policy analysis, engineering, communications, finance, and sustainable packaging solutions.
Ché Pomo — As director of finance, Ché operates out of Ann Arbor, ensuring financial compliance, promoting best practices, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Katy Ricchi — A consulting engineer based in Ann Arbor, Katy is a project leader, representing RRS in the plastics space while driving internal team initiatives.
Isabelle Borkowski — A consultant based in Boulder, Colo., Borkowski has played a key role in expanding RRS’s policy tracking infrastructure services and growing service offerings to better meet client needs.
Carrie Bell — Based in Victor, Idaho, Bell has been involved in proposal development, working collaboratively to secure new business and fostering strong relationships with partners.
Chris King — A senior engineer in Boulder, Colo., King provides leadership to field teams and projects, with his technical expertise and analytical skills driving RRS’s expansion in EPR implementation markets.
Maggie Orozco — As a communications specialist based in Rockville, Md., Orozco specializes in communications work, valued by both peers and clients, and her contributions to strengthening company culture.
Annie White — Based in Washington, DC, White is a senior consultant, contributing to a range of public and private sector projects, using her attention to data and details to advance client objectives.
