Ronin Capital Partners, a Birmingham-based investment firm, has appointed Nikhil Bahadur as managing partner and chief investment officer.

In this role, Bahadur will oversee investment strategy and portfolio growth across Ronin’s diverse industries, including real estate, finance, sports, hospitality, technology and startups.

“As we continue to expand, the next phase of growth requires a leader with the experience and knowledge to guide us further,” says Jay Farner, founder and CEO of Ronin Capital Partners. “Bringing in someone of Nikhil Bahadur’s caliber is the right step forward. With his proven track record in investment strategy and scaling businesses, we are confident that his leadership will help propel Ronin to even greater heights.”

Bahadur brings experience as both an investor and entrepreneur. Most recently, he led finance and corporate development at RIVET Work, a leading construction software company. Prior to that, he spearheaded early-stage technology investments at Augment Ventures and co-founded and sold Blue Nectar Tequila, scaling the brand across the U.S. and Mexico.

Earlier in his career, he managed middle-market private equity transactions at Relativity Capital and worked in investment banking at Wells Fargo and Merrill Lynch, advising consumer, retail and technology companies.

“We know firsthand the challenges entrepreneurs face because we’ve been in their shoes,” says Bahadur. “That perspective allows us to go beyond simply writing a check — we offer the kind of guidance, connections and hands-on support that can truly accelerate growth. We take an active role in helping companies scale, whether that means optimizing operations, refining go-to-market strategies or expanding into new markets.”
