Detroit-based Renaissance Global Logistics, a division of James Group International Inc., has named Tamara Histand as its chief commercial officer.

Previously, Histand was executive vice president of Global Automotive at CEVA Logistics where she was responsible for the automotive sector global business development and account management activities. Before that she worked in several roles in aftermarket supply chain and logistics at Ford Motor Co. and in the automotive practice at Deloitte Consulting. Histand started her career at GE Aircraft Engines on its manufacturing development program.

Histand, of Northville, earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial engineering at Rutgers and her Master of Science in industrial engineering and MBA at the University of Cincinnati.
