TROY — Shivani Sharma, a registered dietitian, has joined the Michigan Medical Doctors Group in Troy to help patients with diabetes, chronic kidney disease, food allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances.
Sharma works a lot with patients who suffer with Diabetes and Renal Disease. She is a Registered Dietitian and a certified LEAP therapist.
Sharma is the author of a healthy eating book called, Fairy Food Mother’s Color Mystery, which educates young children as to the importance of eating fruits and vegetables.
Sharma has added a new service called “Lifestyle Eating and Performance” or LEAP MRT (Mediator Release Test), which is an anti-inflammatory eating plan that produces results in shorter period of time than other tests. Sharma says it takes the guesswork out of patient’s eating plans as now they only need to have a simple blood test that will show 150 foods and chemicals to which they may or may not be reactive.
The Michigan Medical Doctors Group have moved to new offices at 1380 Coolidge Hwy.
