DETROIT — The National Association of Women Business Owners’ “Inspire the Change” annual business meeting seeks to encourage businesswomen to present themselves to investors, customers and each other through pitches and networking.

“This annual meeting is more than installing our new board of directors and chapter president,” says Tamika Brown, Inspire the Change event co-chairperson, “It is also another opportunity for us to serve women in business while allowing our newly installed president Tanya Allen to set her agenda for strengthening the wealth and promoting economic development within the entrepreneurial community”

Pre-qualified attendees of this meeting will be given the opportunity to pitch their businesses to the group and learn to develop a more effective business pitch for future use. The evening will include networking, food and inspirational dialogue from successful businesswomen.

The annual business meeting is at 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago-Detroit Branch. Pre-registration is required and will not be done on-site. For more information visit nawbogdc.org.  Pre-registration is required and will not be done on-site.
