REDICO Names Vice President Promotions

Southfield-based REDICO, a full-service real estate development and investment company, has promoted Samantha Eckhout to vice president of development and Tim McCafferty to vice president of construction.

Eckhout joined REDICO as a senior project manager, specifically focused on American House Senior Living Communities development projects. American House is an affiliated company of REDICO. Eckhout will continue to be responsible for the delivery of senior housing developments, including management of the planning, design, and construction of new and existing properties.

Eckhout, of Commerce Township, is also in charge of sourcing new opportunities. Her current work is primarily focused on Southwest Florida, western Michigan, southeastern Michigan and the Chicago area. Previously, Eckhout managed American House projects in a consulting role and also served in development roles at Lockwood Development and Village Green.

She has a Bachelor’s of Science in public administration from Oakland University.

McCafferty joined REDICO as a senior project manager. As vice president of construction, he will be responsible for supporting the design, engineering, and construction of new commercial developments.

Previously, McCafferty, of Bingham Farms, served as the director of design and construction consulting services at the Staubach Company. He also spent 15 years with Hines Inc. as construction manager. He is also a State of Michigan licensed broker and builder.

McCafferty holds a bachelor’s in general studies from the University of Michigan.
