REDICO Hires New CIO

SOUTHFIELD — REDICO, a full-service real estate development and investment company headquartered in Southfield announced today that Dietrich Knoer has joined the company as chief investment officer.

Knoer has more than 17 years of domestic and international business experience in real estate capital markets and investment management. Knoer has been involved in real estate development, acquisitions, capital origination, and joint venture structuring across the United States, Canada, and the European markets.

Knoer will apply his diverse real estate experience to grow the existing portfolio, expand the geographic footprint, and broaden capital relationships. For many years, Knoer was the CIO for Higgins Development Partners at its the Chicago-based office and industrial development platform. Prior to Higgins, Knoer gained international experience as a senior acquisition specialist at J.P. Morgan Partners in London, England, investing capital for a global opportunistic real estate fund. He started his real estate career with Hines Interests in Chicago.

Knoer holds his MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and a BA in Economics from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität in Frankfurt, Germany.
