Birmingham-based law firm Varnum announced that Rana Eid has joined Varnum’s corporate practice team. She will be based in the firm’s Birmingham office.
Eid focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, representing private equity firms and strategic acquirers across industries including health care, technology, automotive, metals, manufacturing, real estate, and energy.
She joins the firm from the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Eid is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, where she participated in numerous law student organizations and the Michigan Law Transactional Competition. She received her undergraduate degree in political science and international studies from the University of Michigan.
