Ferndale-based pulse220, a meetings, events, and live marketing agency, has hired five new employees including a new account director.
Anne Medovarsky, pulse220’s newly appointed account director, returns to the company following a year-long stint with ViSalus as its senior corporate events manager. In her role as account director, she will support business development activity. Previously, Medovarsky, of Macomb Township, was part of pulse220’s business development team and also worked at Opus Events Agency as its senior event manager. She earned a bachelor’s in communications from Michigan State University.
Kiki Wilson, in her new role as program manager, will assist in the planning, coordinating and execution of events. Most recently, she worked at Beyond Vintage as an account manager, while also serving stints at Ziben Mare as a sales associate and Red Bull as a team member in New York City. Wilson, of Bloomfield Hills, earned her bachelor’s in marketing from The University of Dayton.
Stacy Rix, also was named program manager, and will assist in the planning, coordinating and execution of events. Previously, Rix worked at Emerald City Designs, where she produced and planned weddings in metro Detroit. Rix, of Royal Oak, earned a bachelor’s in commercial recreation with a minor in event management and hospitality at Central Michigan University.
Annie MacKenzie will support Ally’s national live marketing program as newly appointed program manager. In this role, she will be responsible for overall client service, including day-to-day project management. Most recently, MacKenzie, of Plymouth, oversaw the VIP Experience at the Electric Forest Music Festival in Rothbury. Prior to that, she lived in Sydney, Australia, serving as an au pair. She earned a bachelor of applied arts degree in integrative public relations from Central Michigan University.
Marla Feldman, in her new role as project coordinator, will be responsible for providing critical organizational and administrative support to Ally’s national live marketing program. Most recently, she was the creative/production manager for seeds marketing + design. Prior to this role, Feldman, of Royal Oak, served as the designer/art director at Doner Advertising. She earned a bachelor’s in communications/film from Eastern Michigan University.
