President of Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton Dies

Joseph (Jeff) F. Page III, president of the law firm of Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton PC, passed away Oct. 6, 2014. He was born Feb. 15, 1942.

Mr. Page was a member of the firm’s Corporate Division, serving as chairman of the Health Care Law Section. He received his law degree from The University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Art from Princeton University. He was recognized by Martindale Hubbell AV rating, the highest ranking by peers for ethical standards and legal ability. He was also recognized as a DBusiness Top Lawyer. He served on the American Health Lawyers Association Board and the Michigan State Medical Society Task Force on Medical Legal Issues. 

“Jeff was an integral member of the law firm for more than 20 years.  He was tireless in his service to his clients and the community,” said Julius Giarmarco, partner of Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton. “All of us at GMH consider it a privilege to have worked with him.  He was a man of principle, integrity and optimism.”

Mr. Page was a retired colonel in the U.S. Air Force. He joined the Air Force directly from ROTC at Princeton University and actively served as the Academy Liaison Officer until 2002.

Mr. Page was an avid racquetball, tennis, and golf enthusiast. He authored three novels under the pen name of Jeffrey Baldwin.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Wendy Page; daughter Catherine (William) Page Bach; sons Joseph F. (Janet) Page IV and Eric (Meggan) Page; and several grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at William Sullivan & Sons Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Rd., Royal Oak.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 11, 2014 at Christ Church Cranbrook, 470 Church Rd., Bloomfield Hills.
