Plante Moran Names New Chief Information Officer

SOUTHFIELD — Plante Moran, a public accounting and business advisory firm, has named Paul Blowers as chief information officer. In his new role, he will be responsible for the information technology that supports Plante Moran’s enterprise goals. 

Blowers has IT leadership experience in stategy, architecture, solution delivery and operations. Prior to joining Plante Moran, Blowers worked for Kelly Services where he was chief architect and senior director of enterprise architecture and business solutions. He also worked for Accenture serving as lead architecture specialist. 

Blowers received his bachelor’s from Kalamazoo College where he was an NCAA All-American Athlete and NCAA All-American Academic.  He also earned his master’s from Walsh college. In addition to being ITIL certfifed, Blowers is the co-author of the textbook, e-Commerce in Virtual Worlds.
