Paul Thomas Named President of Bosch Mobility Americas Business

German auto supplier Bosch, which has its North American headquarters in Farmington Hills, has named Paul Thomas as president of the company’s Bosch Mobility Americas business.

German auto supplier Bosch, which has its North American headquarters in Farmington Hills, has named Paul Thomas as president of the company’s Bosch Mobility Americas business.

Thomas will oversee a newly created regional board that has been tasked with overseeing Bosch’s business in North and South America. This move is part of Bosch’s realignment of global mobility business, which will officially become Bosch Mobility in January of 2024.

The change is designed to strengthen Bosch’s different global regions so that the company can provide better and faster customized technologies and business solutions. Starting next January, Thomas will oversee technology, strategy, and sales for the Americas region.

“Paul has a proven track record of driving growth in our mobility business. His leadership will be critical to help us support our customers and reach our potential in a key growth region for Bosch globally,” says Mike Mansuetti, president of Bosch in North America.

Thomas currently serves as executive vice president of Mobility Solutions, Americas, where he is he is responsible for sales, marketing, and quality for the region’s mobility business. He is also globally responsible for Bosch business with Ford Motor Company in Dearborn.

Bosch Mobility will be organized into seven divisions. They are electrified motion, vehicle motion, power solutions, cross-domain computing solutions, mobility electronics, mobility aftermarket, and e-bike systems.

To complement the new business structure, regional boards support the global divisions of Bosch Mobility by recognizing the unique factors in different regions, including customer needs, supply chains, regulations, and talent sustainability.
