Patrick M. McCarthy has been named chairman of the firm at Howard & Howard, a business law firm headquartered in Royal Oak, as announced by incoming president and CEO Jon D. Kreucher.
“Pat embodies the qualities of a Howard & Howard attorney. He is exceptionally skilled, a consummate team player, and someone who is dedicated in everything he does. He has already been an outstanding ambassador for the firm and this appointment acknowledges and formalizes that significant role,” says Kreucher.
In his new role, McCarthy will be a key ambassador for the firm and help guide its material strategic initiatives. He also will assist with lateral recruitment of attorneys, client and practice development initiatives, and maintenance of best practices.
McCarthy also serves as the chair of the firm’s litigation practice group and has represented companies from numerous industries in courts and forums nationwide on a broad range of matters, including breach of contract, business torts, unfair competition, patents, trademarks, and copyright issues.
