CANTON — Orangetheory Fitness will open its second Michigan location in Birmingham in the Adams Square Shopping Center. After signing a 3,200-square-foot lease, the group interval fitness center expects to open in November.
Led by professional trainers, Orangetheory uses heart-rate-monitored interval training and short bursts of exercise to create a high-energy fitness experiences. The Birmingham location will be outfitted with treadmills, rowing machines, suspension training and weights, and will feature computer screens linked to heart monitors to track target workout zones. The studio will be open everyday, with plans to offer more than 40 classes per week.
Residents are invited to take advantage of pre-opening pricing specials by stopping by the Adams Square studio at 633 S. Adams Rd. beginning Friday, or Orangetheory’s booth at the Birmingham Farmers Market on Sundays beginning Aug. 3.
