BIRMINGHAM — The Oogieloves in The BIG Balloon Adventure are celebrating their over 500,000 followers on Twitter and over 7 million views on YouTube and over 2 million unique visitors to www.oogieloves.com this week coinciding with the world premiere of the film in Michigan where it was filmed.

Reaching a milestone of half a million followers on Twitter, The Oogieloves “Mommy Army” is out in force, letting everyone know that they are supporting the #RATEDGGG film and the idea of a family movie experience that is a combination of a live show and movie experience all in one.

“The message from our “Mommy Blogger Roundtable Tour” is clear…Moms around the country have spoken and they want REAL G rated films for their families. They are tired of the violence that is allowed into animated films and are disappointed with Hollywood creating entertainment for older members of the family but marketing to their younger ones. And, equally frustrating to these Handholders is the idea that a family movie isn’t complete until one of the parents is killed off in the beginning of the film leaving the child(ren) abandoned and alone to find their way in the world,” said Kenn Viselman, Producer, The Oogieloves in the BIG Balloon Adventure.

Continued Viselman, “I am so impressed with the Power of Mom, in both supporting our initiative to put safe, fun and funny entertainment in front of children, and for helping us to create a film that is also enjoyable for the caregiver. Our “Mommy Army” has really stood up and said ‘We’re mad as hell and we are not going to take it anymore’ to those in the film industry that are pushing violence, sexual innuendo and evil in front of their children. This support has shown astounding growth throughout social media. Based on the trajectory we expect these numbers to double or triple before release.”

The movie, which is opening nationally on Oogust 29th, is a unique, interactive experience for audience-goers. It allows children to be children, encouraging them to sing and dance with their new onscreen friends, helping “move” the adventure along through their activity. The fun and fantastic adventure follows the Oogieloves – Goobie, Zoozie and Tooï¬e – as they set out to ï¬nd ï¬ve magical golden balloons in time for their good friend Schluufy’s surprise birthday party.
