Online Registration Open for Oakland County Health Care Conference

PONTIAC — INNO-VENTION 2014, Southeastern Michigan’s health care and life science conference, along with Medical Main Street Network, has opened registration for its third annual event.

Set for Oct. 21-22 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, INNO-VENTION 2014 will build valuable relationships and productive collaborations in the region and globally.

The conference is for life science and health care companies who want to showcase their innovative products and technologies at Demonstration Alley. Product evaluation criteria for the demonstration area includes: health care-related products that are new-to-market, visual, and award winning. Companies wishing to be considered for space on Demonstration Alley should apply online at MedicalMainStreet.com by Sept. 5.

Nominations are also being accepted online for the 2014 “INNO-VATOR of the Year” award, honoring the creators of a medical device which demonstrates the most dramatic change in the health care industry in Michigan. To be considered for the award, the device must have been developed in Michigan, achieved prototype development and validation, and incorporate a game-changing innovation.

INNO-VENTION 2013 attracted more than 600 health professionals, clinicians, investors and suppliers. A global audience of more than 95,000 people was reached through social media in the United States, Europe, Asia and Canada. Part of this year’s conference will be live streamed.
